Forty-four Persons Test Positive for Coronavirus in DK
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, forty-four persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada on June 30.
Out of the forty-four positive cases, two persons had returned from Saudi Arabia, and one person had travelled from another state. Twenty-one persons had contracted the disease from patient number 10275, 10591, 9209, 9736, 10374, 9589, 11386, and 12402 respectively.
Nine persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and three others are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection. The health officials are tracing the contacts of five others.
All the forty-four persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, seventeen persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
