Four arrested in Attempt to Murder Case at Shaktinagar
Mangaluru: Four persons have been arrested by the Kankanady Police in connection with an attempt to murder case at Shaktinagar here on September 2.
The arrested have been identified as Prathviraj alias Putta (19), Vishal alias Vishal Kumar (20), Abhishek alias Mani (23) and Sachin (21) from Nithinagar, Shaktinagar.
According to the police, on August 30, Tejas was on his way home from office on his two wheeler along with his colleague Saju, near Bolya, a group of four persons waylaid his two-wheeler and assaulted Tejas with machetes to kill him.
In this connection, a case was registered in the Kankanady police station. On September 2, Inspector Ravi Naik getting information about the accused arrested them at Shaktinagar.
The operation was led by Inspector Ravi Naik along with Gilbert D’Souza, Madan, Santhosh, Vinod, Ravindranath Rai, Raghuveer, Nutan Kumar and Sandeep.
