Four Arrested for Transporting 24 Buffaloes Illegally to Calicut
Mangaluru: The Kadri police arrested four persons at in connection with transporting Cattle illegally from Haryana to Calicut at Kadri here on August 10.
The arrested have been identified as Lorry driver Rajender, Kamal Kumar, Sanjay Kumar and Jaikisan all from Haryana.
According to the police, on August 10, morning a lorry bearing registration number HR 79 B 3202, was transporting 24 cattle illegally from Haryana to Calicut. The Kadri police team led by Inspector Shanthram Kundar arrested all the four accused and seized 24 buffaloes from their possession.
The arrested were produced before the court.
Under the direction of Police commissioner Dr Harsha and the guidance of DCP L&O Hanumantharaya and DCP Crime and Traffic Lakshmi Ganesh and ACP Bhaskar Okkaliga, the operation was carried out by the Kadri police Inspector Shantharam Kundar PSI Maruti, Narendra and team.
