Four Arrested in 28-Year-Old Yogish Poojary Murder Case at Malpe
Udupi: The Malpe police have arrested four persons in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Yogish Poojary at Malpe on July 8.
The arrested are identified as Sujith Pinto, Rohit Pinto, Pradeep and Vinay.
On July 6 night a gang of 4-5 members had a fight with Yogish Poojary over a petty business issue near his house, following which the group stabbed Yogish Poojary and fled from the spot.
Yogish Poojary was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately breathed his last on the way. In a swift action, the police succeeded in arresting four of the accused and seized the car that was used for the crime.
Under the Guidance of SP Vishnuvardhan, ASP Kumarchandra and DySP Jaishanker, the team led by Manjnuath CPI Udupi, Timmesh BN PSI Malpe, Sakthivelu PSI Udupi took part in the arrest operation.
