Four arrested in Hotelier Suresh Noojaji Murder case
Mumbai: The Shahpur police have arrested four persons in connection with the murder of hotelier Suresh Noojaji (48) at Shahpur on July 24.
The arrested have been identified as Anil Salunke (32), Rohit Pimple (19) Chaman Chauhan (25) and Santhosh Salunke (35) from Maharastra, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
According to the police, the accused had planned a robbery at the Noojaji’s farmhouse. On July 19 Suresh had come to his farmhouse to see his pet dog which was ill. On the same night, the accused barged into the farmhouse in Shahpur.
The accused attacked Suresh when he was alone. When Suresh resisted, the accused tied his hands and legs and brutally murdered him. After killing Suresh they fled from the spot with gold ornaments and cash.
Suresh Nojaji was a native of Mangaluru, he owned a Hotel in Navi Mumbai and a restaurant in Dubai.
