Four including Mangalorean Ronald Pinto Die on Spot in Road Mishap at Surat
Surat: Four people died on the spot after the truck carrying fish load crashed into a parked truck on National Highway 48, here on September 19.
According to sources, Ronald Pinto along with three others working in a fish Trading company along with three others had gone to Surat on official work. The accident took place while they were returning from Surat to Mumbai.
On September 19 at around 4:30 am, all the four were on their way to Maharashtra from Surat. The driver of the truck lost control and the vehicle crashed into a truck parked on the side of the road killing all the four occupants including the driver on the spot.
It is learnt that two of them were stuck in the vehicle and had to be removed using metal cutters and a crane.
All the bodies were shifted to the mortuary for post mortem.
