Four including MLA N A Haris Injured During Birthday Party at Honnarpet
Bengaluru: Four including MLA of Shanthinagar N A Haris were injured during a birthday party organized by Tamilians at Honnarpet here on January 22.
According to sources, MLA Haris was attending the birthday party of MGR organized by the Tamilians at Honnarpet. During the celebrations, while firecrackers were being burst and on the stage, there was an explosion. MLA Haris was injured in the leg while three others were also injured.
The injured have been admitted to St Philomena Hospital. The Ashoknagar and Vivek Nagar police reached the spot. The Canine squad was also called to the spot for investigation.
