Four Interstate Drug Peddlers Arrested, 10 Kgs Ganja seized
Mangaluru: The South Subdivision and the Anti-rowdy squad arrested four Interstate drug peddlers at Thokkottu here on November 6.
The arrested have been identified as Abubakker Samad alias Samad (24), Mohammed Ashraf (30), Mohammed Afrid (22), Mohammed Arshad (18) all from Kasargod.
On getting reliable information about drug peddling at Thokkottu, under the leadership of ACP South Subdivision, the Anti-rowdy squad raided the area and arrested four drug peddlers. The police seized 10 kg of Ganja, a car worth Rs 2.5 lakh, a two-wheeler worth Rs 50000 and 3 mobile phones all worth Rs 5 lakh from their possession.
Under the able guidance of Police commissioner Dr Harsha, DCP Law and order Arunagshu Giri and DCP Crime and Traffic Lakshmi Ganesh the operation was carried out by the ACP of South Sub Division T Kodandaram, ASI Mohan K V, HC Sunil Kumar, Girish, Ravichandra Regi, Rajaram, Dayanand, Damodar Mahes, Mohammed Shariff and Mohammed Iqbal.
