Four Police Officers from DK to Receive President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service on July 5
Mangaluru: The Director General and Inspector General of Police Dr S Parashivamurthy IPS ADGP announced the president’s police medals for police officers who have rendered distinguished service in the police department. Four police officers from DK have been chosen to receive the Police Medal which will be awarded on July 5 at the Glass House Raj Bhavan, Bengaluru.
Uday Nayak (retired) who served as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mangaluru Central and Addl Supdt of Police, Vinay A Gaonker ACP CCRB Mangaluru City, Sudhir M Hegde Dy SP ACB PS DK and Valentine D’Souza Dy SP Bhatkal Sub Division have been chosen to receive the President’s Police medal for distinguished service.
Uday Nayak has served as the Lokayukta Inspector and was promoted as the ACP central. Before his retirement, he was promoted as Addl Supdt of Police of DK.
Uday Nayak, Vinay Goanker, Sudhir M Hegde and Valentine D’Souza will be receiving the president’s police Medal on July 5 at a ceremony held at the Glass House Raj Bhavan, Bengaluru.
