Four students from Reputed Colleges arrested for Drug trade
Mangaluru: The CID police have arrested four youth hailing from Manipur while they were supplying drugs to students in various colleges, here on December 14.
The arrested have been identified as Rohit, Sharath Singh, Kenebath and Yahima, from Manipur and also students of various colleges in Dakshina Kannada.
According to the police, on receiving information about the supply of Ganja in various colleges, the police kept an eye on the student’s activities. On December 14, the CID police raided Kodialguthu where the students were selling Ganja and arrested four of them.
The police have seized about 1.1 kg of Ganja, Rs 10,000 cash and mobile phones from their possession. The arrested have been handed over to the Barke Police for further investigation.
