Fr Felix Rebello Parish Priest of Infant Jesus Church, Mumbai Passes Away
Mumbai: Fr Felix Rebello, the parish priest of Infant Jesus Church, Jogeshwari-East passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018.
Fr Felix Rebello was 60. He hailed from Karnad Mulky. Born on January 7, 1958. Son of Late Francis Xavier Rebello and Late Alice Rebello (Mascarenhas), Brother of Late Alphonse/ Hilda Rebello (Udyavar), Peter / Leena Rebello (Andheri), Elizabeth / Joseph Noronha (Mulky) and Valerian / Lucy Rebello (Mulky).
Fr Felix Rebello had his initial studies in Mulky and priestly studies at St Pius College, Goregaon, Mumbai, ordained as the priest on April 16, 1994, for Archdiocese of Bombay.
He served as assistant parish priest of St Joseph Church, Vikhroli from June 1994 to May 2001. In June 2001 appointed as the Priest-in-Charge of Our Lady of Mercy Church, Pokhran Thane. After 7 years of priestly ministry at Pokhran appointed as Priest-in-charge of St Francis Xavier Church, Panvel, Navi Mumbai. On 1st June 2015 took charge as Parish Priest of Infant Jesus Church, Jogeshwari-East.
