Fr Ramesh Naik Bandodkar (70) -Mumbai, the Chief Patron of ‘Mandd Sobhann’ Kalangann No More

Mangaluru: Fr Ramesh Naik Bandodkar from Mumbai, the Chief Patron of Kalangann, an important Konkani organization Mandd Sobhann, Mangaluru, passed away at the Rosary Church residence, Mumbai dockyard on Tuesday, 1 September 2020 due to heart attack, at the age of 70. As per Mumbai Archdiocese “His last rites will be held in St Andrew Church Bandra TODAY 2 September 2020 at 10 am.

According to Eric Ozario, the Gurkar of Mandd Sobhann, “Fr Ramesh who was the lover of art and culture realizing the importance of Kalangann building being constructed in 1996, had collected funds from his friends and helped to complete the construction. The auditorium has been named after his mother Late Mrs Gracy Ganga Naik Bandodkar considering his service. He had served as the main promoter of Kalangann building committee and the executive member of Mandd Sobhann for the past 20 years”. .

Mandd Sobhann Gurkar Eric Ozario, current president Louis Pinto and former president Roy Castelino of Mandd Sobhann, Chairman of Kalangann Ronald Mendonca, Mumbai and executive committee members have expressed their condolences on the sad demise of Fr Ramesh Naik Bandodkar.
