Free food for Poor in Indira Canteen, Decision Will be taken for State Lockdown – CM Yediyurappa
Bengaluru: The chief minister of Karnataka B S Yediyurappa has assured of providing free food for the poor and marginalized people in the state.
Speaking to the mediapersons B S Yediyurappa said, “By keeping in mind the welfare of the poor people in the state, I have instructed the concerned officials to provide them with free food throughout the day. After the lockdown in Bengaluru, people are finding it difficult to get food.”
When asked about the lockdown in the entire state, CM Yediyurappa said, “After the lockdown in Bengaluru and Bengaluru rural the people are not following the orders of the government. People are still on the streets and if such a situation continues it will be a problem to control the spreading of the Coronavirus. By today evening we will take the decision to lockdown the entire state”.
