Full-fledged Services on Surgical Gastroenterology available at A J Hospital
Mangaluru: A J Hospital & Research Centre is happy to announce the commencement of full-fledged services of its new super speciality wing – Surgical Gastroenterology. The expert team comprises of two specialists (Dr Ashwin Alva and Dr Rohan Shetty) exclusively trained in advanced institutes dealing with all aspects of gastrointestinal surgery including liver transplantation.
In the last couple of months, complicated and technically challenging surgeries like hepatic resections (major hepatectomies and segmental resections), pancreatic resection (Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer), as well as laparoscopic colorectal surgeries, have been performed by our team with excellent outcomes.
