Kundapur: Rajesh Kharvi (36), hailing from Bhatkal, lived with his elder sister in Guddekeri of Gangolli. He was employed in the fishing trade.
On Tuesday in the afternoon, while returning from a fishing trip, he was trying to set the net right near the manganese wharf.
While doing so, he lost physical balance and fell into the sea. He could not be traced thereafter. On Wednesday morning, his body was found near the same wharf.
After a post-mortem examination at the primary health centre, the body was handed over to the family members.
