Gangolli Police Arrest Four for Trafficking Ganja

Gangolli Police Arrest Four for Trafficking Ganja

Kundapur: The Gangolli Police have succeeded in arresting four persons and seizing Rs 14.45 lakh worth ganja and other items from their possession on September 18 night. The ganja was being transported in an Insulator vehicle from Bhatkal to Kundapur.

The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Sakir (24) and Mohammed Jafer (35) both residents of Harekala in Mangaluru, Alfaz(20), a resident of Kirimanjeshwara, Byndoor and Mohammed Isoof (45).

Acting on a tip-off, Gangolli PSI Bhimashankar and team stopped an Insulator vehicle Near Maravanthe which was travelling from Bhatkal to Kundapur. While checking the vehicle, they found 20 grams Ganja in the vehicle. The police have seized the ganja, four Mobiles and the vehicle, all worth Rs 14.45 Lakh.

A case has been registered in Gangolli Police Station, and the investigation is on.
