UAE: Ganiga Samaja celebrated its 9th anniversary at Fortune Grand Hotel Bur Dubai here on April 24.
Ganiga’s from all over the UAE attended the programme.
Raghavendra Ganiga welcomed the gathering. The programme began with an invocation. The programme was inaugurated by the committee members along with the president by lighting the traditional lamp. Geetha Shetty introduced the guests to the gathering.
President Suresh Ganiga, felicitated the Ganiga community members from various organizations.
A drawing competition was held for children and the participants were divided into different categories based on their age. There was a cultural programme. Niriksha, Rithika, Manya, Tanisha, Diya performed Bollywood dance and mesmerised the audience. Sachin, Prasanna and Manoj enthralled the audience with their fushion mix hindi and Kannada filmy songs.
Various games were conducted for the children, women and men and the winners were awarded with prizes. At the end of the programme the lucky winners were announced. The Lucky winner of the day was Anusha Raghavendra who won the Samsung LED 32″ TV. Samsung Mobile phone was won by Subhash Salian.
President Suresh Ganiga delivered the vote of thanks.
