Ganja Go Up in Smoke! Udupi Police Destroy 18 KG Seized Ganja
Udupi: A total of 18 kg of ‘ganja’ was burnt by the Drug Disposal Committee on court orders on the premises of the district police office here on Friday October 26.
The district police had seized 18 Kg of Ganja during raids in 15 cases coming under Udupi Town police Station, Manipal Police Station, Karkala Police Station.
As Per the orders of the Court, the Drug Disposal Committee had destroyed the seized ‘ganja’ by burning it. The entire burning process of the Ganja had been video-recorded.
Udupi SP Laxman B Nimbaragi, DySP Udupi Jai Shanker, CPI Udupi Manjunath and others were present.
