Ganja Peddler arrested by CCB Police at Neermarga
Mangaluru: The CCB police arrested a youth while selling Ganja to students and the public at Neermarga here on October 21.
The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Riyas (24) a resident of Olabail, Neermarga.
According to the police, on October 21, on getting information that Mohammed Riyas was selling Ganja to students and the public at Olabail, Neermarga, the CCB police got into action and arrested him. The police seized 250 grams of Ganza, Pulsar Bike and a mobile phone all worth Rs 36,000 from his possession.
Mohammed Riyas was selling Ganja in small packets to students. He has also been involved in an assault case and a case was registered against him in the Mangaluru Rural police station. The CCB police handed over Mohammed Riyas to the Mangaluru Rural Police station for further investigation.
Under the able direction of Police commissioner T R Suresh, DCP Law and Order Hanumantharaya, DCP Crime and Traffic Uma Prashanth, the operation was carried out by the CCB police led by Inspector Sunil Naik.
This youth deserves to be imprisoned for life. He is a maniac who stalks minors, threatens widows and has alcoholic parties daily in a forest near Neermarga. Congratulations CCB..keep the good work going.
