Germany coach Loew, wife separate after 30 years of marriage
Berlin, Aug 12 (IANS) Germany’s football team chief coach Joachim Loew and his wife Daniela have decided to separate after 30 years of marriage, according to media reports.
According to the Bild newspaper on Friday, which cited a friend of the family, the separation did not occur overnight as the marriage had been going through a long crisis, reports Efe.
Bild also stated that both spouses are interested in maintaining a good relationship, and despite living apart they have not sought divorce.
Supposedly, 56-year-old Loew is set to take up residence in Berlin, while his wife plans to stay in the family home in Wittnau, southern Germany, and continue to address the financial affairs of the family.
