Get Ready for Cricket Excitement at VIVO IPL Fan Park Set Up at Nehru Maidan on 10 May, where you can watch the match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals on Mega LCD Screen, where fans can get closer to the action, replicating a stadium-type atmosphere.

Mangaluru : Even though last year the IPL Fan Park event at Nehru Maidan got washed out due to heavy lightning and thunderstorms, once again this year, Mangaloreans will have an opportunity to the IPL cricket at a special IPL Fan Park set up at Nehru Maidan, Mangaluru, where cricket enthusiasts can watch the match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals on Mega LCD Screen, where you can get closer to the action, replicating a stadium-type atmosphere.This unique venture has been organized by BCCI in association with Mangalur Premier League organizers.

IPL fan park is for the cricket fans who cannot watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 matches live at stadiums across various venues, here is an opportunity to catch the action free of cost. IPL Fan Park venue will be opened from 6 pm until the match ends pm on Friday, 10 May 2019 at Nehru Maidan. Initiated in 2015, this season the VIVO IPL Fan Fan Park has extended its footprints to newer territories, spread across 21 states and covering 36 cities, where Fan Park 2019 looks forward to cover regions with limited options of entertainment, thereby trying to bring about a social change through community viewing. Apart from Mangaluru for once again being the lucky one on the list, the new cities added this year are Tezpur, Gangtok, Bhilai, Una, Shivamogga, Tirunelveli, Madurai and Trichy.

IPL Fan Park initiates in giving the fans living far away from the live action relive the excitement and atmosphere that comes with watching an IPL match with friends and family in a public location. The Fan Park is a BCCI property which is done to boost the games popularity across all cities in India and a reach out to almost all the fans situated in different parts of the country. On Friday, nearly 10,000 fans are expected to visit the IPL Fan Park at Nehru Maidan. While there is NO ENTRY FEE, but fans have to register at the entrance to avail lucky coupons, where lucky winners can take home VIVO mobile phones.. There will be many food/beverage stalls inside the Park, along with music. Special seating arrangements have been made for the senior citizens and differently-abled people.
