Mangaluru: Bale Telipale is a Kannada language TV show. The show has been telecasted by through Namma TV. It is an extremely special TV show that created buzz among the audience way before its release. Bale Telipale is a reality TV show. This is a competition of comedy. Bale Telipale is a comedy show in which the participants enter in this competition through free registration. The show is made to bring out the best talent in that region who can make the audience laugh. The show brings out the best groups and best comedians from the region that performs a lot of comical acts for the audiences.
These groups are selected by the audience only by a voting system. The audience can chose their favorite groups through SMS voting or app voting. Later the participants take part in the show. The show also has judges who adjudge the comedy acts by the participants. The show has cash prizes for the top three performances- First place Rs 2 lakhs, II nd place Rs 1 lakh, and III rd place Rs 50,000. Along with the pre- decided cash prize the winner also gets a trophy. The best and top three teams take away these prizes with them. Not just this, the audiences also got a chance to listen to the legendary musician and singer, Guru Kiran.
Every season many artists come up to grace the evening. The show has come up with many seasons. Each season has different participants who fight this competition of comedy. Each season has special episodes where participants and winners of the older seasons come and perform. Every year the show was held at the Sastavu Boothanatheshwara Temple-Badaga Yedapadavu Mijar, in the outskirts of Mangaluru, but this year since the construction of a new auditorium is going on there, the show has been shifted to Town Hall-Mangaluru. Until now nearly 4 crore people have watched the show, and also it has encouraged many to take part in this contest.
