Girl from Chitradurga on Treatment in Udupi Tests Positive for COVID-19, Shifted to COVID Hospital
Udupi: A 17-year-old girl native of Chitradurga district who had come for treatment to Udupi KMC Hospital has tested positive for COVID-19. She has been shifted to the DR TMA Pai COVID Hospital, Udupi.
According to the state health bulletin, the 17-year-old girl, a native of Chitradurga district was admitted to the KMC Hospital on May 16 for treatment. The KMC hospital had sent her throat swab to the lab for COVID-19 test. On May 19 the report confirmed that she has positive for COVID-19. She has now been shifted to the DR TMA Pai COVID hospital, Udupi.
With this, the total number of positive cases in Udupi district has increased to 16.
