Girl killed by Youth for Refusing to Love him, Commits Suicide
Moodbidri: A 26-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence after assaulting the girl who refused to love him, at Bajal under the Moodbiri police station limits here on September 28.
According to the police, Lohit was in love with 22-year-old Charishma Karkera. But Charishma was not interested in him. Angered by her refusal, on September 28, at around 11 am, when Charishma was alone at home, Lohit went to her house and assaulted her. When the neighbours heard Charishma screaming for help, they rushed to help her. Seeing Charishma injured they rushed her to the hospital.
Charishma without responding to the treatment succumbed to injuries. Meantime Lohit also went to his house and hanged himself.
Moodibidri police have registered a case and are investigating.
