The program commenced by invoking the blessings of the Almighty and was followed by a short video presentation highlighting the dire need for blood donation, given the staggering accident cases in our country and the world over. The event was inaugurated by our Alumnus, the young and dynamic Dr. Vivian D’Almeida, MS (Ortho) and Assistant Professor at Fr. Muller’s Hospital, Mangaluru.

He concluded by saying that we make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give!

Fr. Denzil Lobo S J Director, AIMIT, in his presidential address, reiterated the need for donating blood. He stated that blood saves many human lives irrespective of caste, creed, colour, or race.
