Miss Gladys Monteiro (78), former teacher, St Agnes Nursery School, Bendur, Mangaluru, daughter of the late Joachim Monteiro ( Beltangady / Mundan, Mangaluru) and the late Magdalene nee Mascarenhas (of Bappalige, Puttur origin), sister of the late Harold, the late Hilda ( + the late Cuthbert Lasrado – N R Mohalla, Mysuru), the late Frederick, the late Norbert and the late Edward, and aunt of Dr Placid Lasrado ( + Lizzie nee D’Cunha), Hyacinth ( + John Pinto, Bon View Towers, Kadri, Mangaluru), and Sandra ( + Peter Rasquinha – Bengaluru), passed away in Mysuru on Sunday, April 26, following prolonged illness.
Funeral service will be held in the Roman Catholic cemetery in Gandhinagar, Mysuru, at 10-00 am on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
