Speaking to Team Mangalorean, GTA aka Glenn Thomas Alex said, “These are the eight main videos of our channel related to our Flute Keyboard covers. The remaining video are the choir performances of my church (Mar Thoma Syrian Church, Falnir-Mangaluru) where I am currently the choir master of the church choir. And the other videos are few instrumentals I just made.”. When asked how he puts all these compositions/covers together, he replied, ” The process of making videos is like this. I listen to songs and try figuring out which songs would go well together (for medleys) or otherwise would sound beautiful as Flute Keyboard Cover.”
“Later I run this by the flutist. Once we are in agreement, I make the track on the church keyboard (since I don’t have a professional keyboard of my own :)- but trying to buy one soon). Later I coordinate with the tabla player and record the audio of the tabla using my camera (since recording in studios is a bit expensive and we don’t earn from our videos). Then I mix the tabla beats with my keyboard track and use the track to record the lead flute using my camera. Once I’m done mastering the audio on my laptop at home, we go to some good scenic location where I shoot the video of the flutist and tabla player. Since our tabla player is based in Mysore, I have to travel to Mysore and get his video recorded separately which is why all three of us are never in the same frame together. Once I have recorded all videos, I process and edit the video at home and mix it with the audio and upload it to Youtube” added Glenn.
And finally, a humble request from Glenn Thomas Alex is that “We are currently at 450+ subscribers and we need to reach 10,000 subscribers to be eligible for other facilities provided by Youtube. My humble request to the readers of Mangalorean.com to subscribe to us, since it would help us a lot to reach greater heights. Looking forward to your support and encouragement in our future music/songs covers on YouTube-Thank you all”.
Wishing all the success.
