Gold Worth Rs 12 Lakh Concealed in Tiger Balm and Talc Powder Box Seized at MIA
Mangaluru: The Customs officials at the International Airport, seized 349.48 grams of gold concealed in Tiger Balm and Talc powder box in the form of paste valued over Rs 12.06 lakh from a passenger who arrived from Dubai on June 25.
The officers at MIA seized the gold concealed below the Tiger Balm box and Talc powder box in the form of a paste. The passenger who had arrived from Dubai attempted to smuggle the gold through Mangalore International Airport.
The customs officers seized the gold. Further investigation is under progress.
