‘Golden Jubilee Unity Run’ organized by St Joseph’s Indian Institutions, Bengaluru to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Institution on Sunday, 28 January 2024

Bengaluru: The “Golden Jubilee Unity Run”, an exciting event that united people from different backgrounds, age groups, and abilities, showcasing the diversity and inclusivity that St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions stand for. In addition to this the run aimed to provide educational facilities to the blind and poor children, keeping in view the social interest and spreading the message of humanity.

The event was graced by MLA NA Harris, Shanthinagar Constituency, Health Minister, Mr Dinesh Gundurao, Chairman of CREES Group, Robert Christopher, Rev. Father Jossie De’ Mello, Assistant to the Provincial of Karnataka Province, Rev. Fr Sunith Prabhu Former Principal of SJIHS, Suresh, Marketing Head of Haier Company, Satish IPS, Additional Commissioner, Bengaluru West Division, Om Sai Prakash, Film Producer and Director. Rev. Father Joseph D’Souza, Head of St. Joseph’s Indian School, and Rev. Father John Lang, Treasurer.

Babu Joseph along with a Renowned playback singer Sangeetha Ravindranath whose musical rendition gave new vigor to the runners. Speaking about the program, Father Rohan D’Almeida, Principal of St. Joseph’s CBSE School, said that it was organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the institution in the current campus and India being a diverse country we are running this campaign through a ‘Unity Run’.

Running events like this also fosters a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Participants can bond over their shared experiences and form lasting connections. Moreover, it allows the institution to engage with the community and strengthen the relationships it has built over the years. Overall, the “Golden Jubilee Unity Run” was an excellent way to celebrate St. Joseph’s Indian Institution’s 50-year journey on the current campus and create memorable experiences for all involved. It was an event that combined celebration, fitness, and community engagement in a unique and meaningful way.
