Goldfinch City Bale! Stage All Set for the Pro-CAA Rally Addressed by Union Minister Rajnath Singh
Mangaluru: Following close on its heels after a bunch of Muslim Organizations joined together and organized a massive Anti-CAA/NRC and NPR protest at a 15 acre ground in Kannur/Adyar on 15 January 2020, where nearly 3 lakh people showed up, now it is the turn of BJP to organize a Pro-CAA, NRC and NPR rally today ( 27 January 2020) at Goldfinch City, near Kulur, Mangaluru, where the organizers are expecting a crowd over 2 lakh. The roads leading to this rally venue has been decorated with BJP buntings/flags, banners and hoardings, and the ground is getting the final touch up for the BIG rally scheduled to start at 4 pm. Among the large number of BJP flags erected at the venue, there is also a large Tri colour Indian National Flag hung right in front of the main stage. My India, My Pride!
The organizers have also extended a cordial welcome to the Muslim community to attend the rally, in order to learn more about CAA/NRC and NPR. In connection with this Rally and the visit of Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to Mangaluru for this public meeting on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) on 27 January 2020, Mangaluru Police have issued traffic advisory. This awareness programme will be held as per the guidelines issued by the Mangaluru police, the organizers and the participants coming from Udupi and Mangaluru to the venue must park their vehicles in designated slots. The guidelines for the public in view of traffic diversions issued by the police will be in force on 25 January from 9 AM TO 9 PM.
