Good Samaritan U T Khader Assists Snakebite Victim Soldier Santhosh Kumar
Mangaluru: The Minister for Food and Civil Services U T Khader has earned so much of admiration from the people of Dakshina Kannada for his humanitarian deeds. Besides, several times over, Khader has gone out of the way to help people when they are in dire need.
Speaking to Mangalorean.com Minister U T Khader said, “On November 6, at around 1:15 am, I received a call from Santhosh Kumar’s brother that he needed my help as Santhosh Kumar was bitten by a snake. Santhosh Kumar from Kodakallu Mudipu who injured earlier this year in a Pakistan terror attack in Kashmir.”
Minister Khader further said, “On November 5, Santhosh Kumar had come to attend a function in his hometown where he was bitten by a snake. He was rushed to Father Muller Hospital, Mangaluru. In the hospital, doctors suggested that he required 10 injections. Santhosh’s brother called me and said that Santhosh needs injections and I am unable to provide it. He asked my help to get the injections immediately. At 1:30 am in the night I reached the hospital, met the doctors who provided all medical assistance, I immediately arranged for the injections from Wenlock Hospital.”
Minister Khader also said, “Santhosh Kumar is now recovering, I have assured them of all the help until he recovers.”
We see minister Khader helping people any time people call him. Whenever he gets a call, he rushes to help the victims. We need such leaders who are always ready to help people in need.
