Mangaluru: Former Minister U T Khader has gained much admiration from the people of Dakshina Kannada as well as Karnataka for his humanitarian work. In the past, he has helped many people involved in accidents and at other critical times.
On April 7, U T Khader received a call from a local to get an ambulance as a man was suffering from high fever. Accordingly, Khader called for an ambulance which reached the spot after 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, U T Khader himself went to Kotekar to take the patient to the hospital. But as U T Khader reached the spot, the Ambulance also arrived.
When people hesitated to go near the patient who was suffering from fever, U T Khader himself went to the patient and covered the face with a mask and helped him into the ambulance.
In the present situation where COVID-19 has been fast-spreading, people are afraid and hesitate to help others. But U T Khader without any hesitation showing his concerns helped the sick man. Whenever U T Khader gets a call, he rushes to help. U T Khader is an excellent example where action speaks louder than words.
