Grace Ministry and MMJ distribute food to Inmates of Shree Matha Lakshani old age home

Mangaluru: The Grace Ministry in association with Meramajal MJ organised a charity event at the Shree Matha Lakshani old age home located at Meramajal here on April 30.

 

Shree Matha Lakshani old age home is run by Lokesh Pergade Foundation Trust which was founded in 2007, by Kanthadiguthu H Harish Pergade, an Engineer by profession and a social worker by passion. In the execution of one of its objectives, the Trust established Shree Matha Lakshani Shanthidhama for the aged and the neglected, in memory of the noble, selfless and great human being, the mother of the founder of the Trust, Kanthadiguthu Late Lakshani Pergade. At present, the Ashram has 20 inmates who are leading a peaceful and happy life in their ultimate home for the rest of their life.

This event included distributing food in the afternoon and fruits in the evening to all the residents of the old age home. Meals were served by Meramajal Panchayat Vice president Jayashree, Saheed Baddor and Mustafa. They also spoke on the occasion. Grace Ministry and MMJ also felicitated 3 social workers from Meramajal for their immense contribution towards the society. Actor, Director Kannada, and Tulu film Industry MK Mata, Actor, Director from Mumbai film Industry Manohar Shetty Nandalike, Actor, Director Mumbai Rahim and Mark Ronald D’Souza were also felicitated on the occasion.

There was a musical evening to entertain the inmates of the old age home. Basheer Baikampady, Mohammad Baddoor, Isaac Richard, Nithin Shetty Panjimogeru, Harish Pergade Founder of Shree Matha Lakshani old age home), Ravikiran Kulkarni, Mohammed Yusuf, Mohammed Asgar, Naveen Neralthodi, Haji Abdul Rehman, Shubhkar Salian, Naveen, Ahmed Bawa and others were also present.
