Grandparents’ Day Celebrations at St Aloysius Gonzaga School
Mangaluru: Grandparents are a special gift from God. They are the pillars of our family and special to every child. With this thought in mind, a special day was dedicated to our wonderful grandparents in St Aloysius Gonzaga Kindergarten on 19th September 2018.
The memorable day began by seeking God’s blessings. Mrs Vrinda & Mr Ganesh Kini, proud grandparents of Mayuk of K- II, were the chief guests of the day whose message conveyed the love and warmth shared between the grandparents and their doted grandchildren.
Fr Melwin Mendonca SJ, Manager of the school and Principal Mrs Grace Noronha were the other dignitaries of the day. Shanvi of K – 2 welcomed the gathering. Entertainment programme was put up by the students of Kindergarten and class I. The Grandparents were overwhelmed by the performance of their grandchildren.
Various games were organised by Mrs Agnes Saldanha, PE Teacher and prizes were awarded to the winners. The programme was compered by Mohammed Aahil and Joanne Elizabeth of K- II.
The Vote of thanks was delivered by Joshua Coelho of K – 2. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
