Gujarat Election Results Turning Point in Indian Politics – U T Khader

Mangaluru: “The people of Gujarat want a change and they have voted for the Congress. From the past 22 years, the BJP is in power in Gujarat. The present election results in Gujarat are a setback for the BJP”, said the minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader in a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on December 18.

Addressing the mediapersons U T Khader said, “There are changes in politics in the country after the Gujarat election results. There will be victory for truth and the Gujarat election results have proved it. From the past 22 years, the BJP is in power in Gujarat. The BJP held more than 30 rallies in Gujarat before the elections but the Congress has increased their seats. One can fool the people sometimes but not all the times. The people of Gujarat have not benefitted by the NDA government so the Congress party has got more votes and seats than the last elections”.

When asked about the defeat in Himachal Pradesh, U T Khader said, “We welcome the decision of the people of Himachal Pradesh. People wanted a change and they have voted for the BJP. Rahul Gandhi has taken charge as the president of AICC, he has the blessings of the people and God. If there is one family that has given blood for the country, it is the Gandhi family and no one can deny it. In the coming days, Rahul Gandhi will be the Prime Minister of our country and no one can stop him.”

When asked about the EVM machines which cannot be trusted and going for the ballot paper U T Khader said, “The party decision is my decision. In the USA too for the elections ballot papers were used. In many developed countries ballot papers are being used for the elections.”

Mamatha Gatti and others were also present.

What planet is this dude on? Look at the spin. If a party has been in power for 22 years straight in one State and still managed to win another term in majority then that’s nothing but praiseworthy. If it was 94-88 perhaps one can say Congress gained. But this is clear victory for BJP.

Suck it up and move on.
