Gurudevananda Swamiji Inaugurates Dharma Sansad DK Unit committee

Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada unit of Dharma Sansad announced the committee members to take up the responsibility to prepare for the forthcoming Dharma Sansad which will be held from November 24 to 26. The committee was formed under the able guidance of Odiyoor Shri Gurudevananda Swamiji at Samaja Kalyana Mantap, Kadri here on October 27.

The programme began with an invocation. District VHP president Jagadish Shenava welcomed the gathering. General Secretary of Dharma Sansad Prof M B Puranik briefed on the Dharma Sansad.

The programme was inaugurated by Odiyoor Shri Gurudevananda Swamiji by lighting the traditional lamp. The official announcement of the Committee members was made on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering Odiyoor Shri Gurudevananda Swamiji said, “Dharma Sansad will write a preface of the prosperity of the country. It is the duty of every citizen to retain the Dharma and we all should be united for the same. During the Dharma Sansad decision will be taken to construct the Ram Mandir and soon it will be a reality. More than 2000 Swamijis from across the country will attend the Dharma Sansad. Nowadays our youth are addicted to drugs, blue whale game etc and spoil their life. In this connection, parents should involve their children in religious activities. By involving the youth in Dharma Sansad we can bring changes in their lives.”

Swamiji further said, “This is the Kumba Mela which will be organized on November 24 to 26 because of the participation of all Swamijis from across the country and the Pejawar Swamiji who saw 5 Paryayas will bless all of us. Pejawar Swamiji is the first and only one to see 5 Paryayas and we need to crave blessings from him. Today we have formed the committees, and from today onwards you all have to perform your duties well for the success of the Dharma Sansad.”

Dr Ashajyothi Rai, Harikrishna Bantwal, Puroshotham Kottari, Pusparaj Jain, Gopal Kuthar and others were also present.
