Hafiz K A (23) from Puttur Now Sub Lieutenant in Indian Navy

Puttur: Hafiz K A (23) from here has been recruited to rank of a sub lieutenant in the Indian Navy. He is the son of Ayisha and K Aboobaqer, a senior health supervisor in the district health office.

He is an alumnus of Mountain View English-medium School in Salmara-Puttur, Sudana School and Philomena College, Puttur. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

It is a matter of credit that he is the only candidate from among the 150 engineers from different states, who had appeared for Services Selection Board intereviews held in Coimbatore and Kochi, with tests in different disciplines like physical fitness, social and technical matters.
