Haji Hameed Kandak Collapses at AHINDA Programme, Dies
Mangaluru: Social activist and the vice president of Muslim Central Committee, Haji Hamid Kandak (72), died after suffering cardiac arrest during a programme at Hotel Woodlands here on January 24.
AHINDA organized a meeting at Hotel Woodlands on January 24 in connection with the Republic Day. Haji Hamid Kandak while addressing the gathering suddenly collapsed. He was immediately rushed to the hospital but he breathed his last on the way.
Hameed Kandak was the member of All India Haj Committee and was the president of the Central Market Merchants Association including an active member of various organizations.
