Hannibal Buress joins ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’
Los Angeles, June 21 (IANS) Actor-comedian Hannibal Buress has joined the cast of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in an undisclosed role.
Directed by Jon Watts, the movie commences principal photography this week in Atlanta with actor Tom Holland playing Peter Parker/Spider-Man, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
Donald Glover and Logan Marshall-Green boarded the project last week, joining relative newcomers Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and J.J. Totah.
Buress is known to many as being the spark for the current Bill Cosby sexual assault scandal when he called the legendary entertainer a “rapist” during a comedy act. The act prompted a re-examination of Cosby’s past behaviour.
Buress recently wrapped up filming “Baywatch” alongside Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Priyanka Chopra, and will be doing voice work in Illumination Entertainment and Universal’s upcoming animated film “The Secret Life of Pets”.
