Happy Mother’s Day!
The second sunday in May is celebrated as Mother’s Day. This year, mother’s day falls on Sunday, May 13. I have made a beautiful card for my mother.
Most children plan to give their mothers a card or a present. I am going to prepare a sweetdish called snowballs. I learnt the recipe from Mrs. Ann Thomas, my cooking teacher, in school during my cooking class, my afternoon activity in school. This is how the snow balls are made.
We need condensed milk, dessicated cocount and food colors. I used red, yellow and orange.
First take a little dessicated coconut in a bowl. Mix it with one color. Do this separately for all the colors. Next, take a lot of dessicated coconut in a bowl and add condensed milk. Mix it well. Take a little of this mixture and make it into a ball. Roll it in one of the colors. And the snowballs are ready.
When serving, mix all the remaining colored dessicated coconut powder and pour into a flat plate. Arrange the colored snowballs in this plate. The yummy snowballs are ready to be eaten.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers!
