Hariram Shanker takes charge as DySP of Kundapur

Kundapur: Hariram Shanker a 2017 batch IPS officer took charge as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) of Kundapur on September 5. The outgoing DySP B P Dinesh Kumar handed over the charge to the new DySP.

Hariram Shanker a native of Thrissur in Kerala completed his IPS in 2017, he worked as a probationary ASP at Athani in Belagavi district. Later he completed two months training in Hyderabad and was appointed as the DySP of Kundapur sub-division. Hariram Shanker completed his mechanical engineering at NIT Calicut. After many years of break, the Kundapur Subdivision has got an IPS level DySP.

After taking the charge Hariram Shanker said, “First I will study the situation of Kundapur Division. Kundapur is a peaceful area and we will see that it remains the same in the coming days. He assured of giving top priority to the maintenance of law and order. Special attention will be given for traffic safety and illegal activities. Strict action will be taken against anyone involved in illegal activities,” he said.

There will be no compromise when it comes to maintaining law and order, he said

Kundapur CPI Manjappa, Byndoor CPI Parameshwar Gunaga, Kundapura PSI Harish Naik, Byndoor PSI Thimmesh B N and other officials were present.
