Head constable Ashok dies of cardiac arrest, department pays last respect
Kundapur: A Head constable of Kollur police station died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday, December 28.
The deceased is Ashok Kharvi (43) a resident of Gangolli Karanthabail, Kundapur Taluk. He survived by his wife Sumithra and two children Aditha and Apeksha.
According to sources Ashok had gone to sleep after having dinner and complained of severe chest pain. Immediately he was rushed to the Chinmayi hospital with the help of another constable residing nearby to Ashok’s house. Without responding to treatment, Ashok breathed his last at the hospital early in the morning on December 28.
Ashok had served in the district crime branch, Kota police station. From one and half year he was serving as a head constable at the Kollur Police station and was residing in the Kundapur police quarters from the last four months.
The district police department paid their last respect to Ashok Kharvi at the Kundapur police station. Under the leadership of Praveen Nayak DySP Kundapur, Raghav Padil CPI Byndoor, Naseer Husain SI Kundapur, Subbanna SI Gangolli, Shekar SI Kollur and others paid their last respect to Ashok.
