Head Constable from Karkala Town PS goes missing
Karkala: A Police Head Constable of Karkala Town Police Station went missing on Thursday, October 19.
The missing officer is identified as Shrutin Shetty (35), from Kaup. He was working at the Karkala town police station.
According to the police, on Thursday night around 7:30 pm, Shruthin called his wife and said that he was in Nandikoor and would reach home in some time. After that, his mobile was switched off and he did not return home. His wife Pooja Shetty filed a complaint at the Padubidri Police Station.
Shrutin Shetty joined the police department in 2008 and two months ago got a promotion. He was posted as Head Constable for the Karkala Town Police Station.
A case has been registered at the Padubidri Police Station.
