Head Constable Kamalaksha K chosen for 2018 President’s Police Medal
Mangaluru: Kamalaksha K, currently posted to the seventh battalion of Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) based at Asaigoli here, has been chosen for the President’s Police Medal taking into account his distinguished service, on the occasion of Republic Day 2018.
Head Constable Kamalaksha, aged 52, was appointed as Police Constable at 7th battalion KSRP-Mangaluru on 04 June 1993. From 04.06.1993 to 03.11.1996 he performed special duties at Mangaluru City, D.K.Dist, Udupi Dist, Chickmagalur Dist & Kodagu Dist with great dedication, sincerity and earned appreciation from senior officers. He was deputed outside Karnataka State for bundobust duties with sincerity and earned appreciation from the higher officials.
Kamalaksha was deputed to Assam from 30-05-1996 to 15-07-1996 for special duties where he performed his duties sincerely, very diligently and utmost satisfaction of the higher officers. Apart from performing Motor Cycle Rider duties, he is also being deputed to law & order bandobust duties. He is a very sharp minded and excellent worker, who performs whatever the duties entrusted to him without any hue and cry. For the good work turned out by him so far he has earned 13 cash rewards and also earned appreciation from his superiors. During his entire service, he has not been punished or facing any Departmental Enquiry and Criminal case.
In 1996 he underwent Motor Cycle driving training at PDMS Yalahanka Bengaluru. After completing Basic Training and Police Motor Driving Training, he served as Motor Cycle Rider from 1996 to 2015. In this period he earned a good name for accident-free Motor Cycle Rider from the higher officials. During the year 2014, he was deputed for Lok Sabha General Election duties at Karnataka. He discharged his duties in a disciplined and efficient manner.
For the good work turned out by him so far he has earned 15 cash rewards and 03 appreciation letter from his higher officers. In 2015 he got promotion as Police Head Constable, posted to 7th Bn KSRP Mangaluru.
During his 24 years of service, he has performed all types of duties with a lot of dedication and devotion. Considering the unblemished and unstinted service put forth by him in the department, the name of Kamalaksha, Police head Constable No.52 of 7th Bn. KSRP Mangaluru is recommended for the award of President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of REPUBLIC DAY- 2018.
