Head Constable Shivappa is ‘Today’s COVD-19 Warrior’ on Day 5
Mangaluru: Every day the police commissioner of Mangalore Police Commissionerate Dr. Harsha recognizes the good work done by the police personnel during the COVID-19 lockdown.
On April 17, the Kavoor police station Head constable Shivappa has been chosen as the “HE IS MY TODAY’S COVID-19 WARRIOR”.
On April 16, Shivappa was on duty at the Kavoor police station where he received a call and at around 3:00 pm that a woman from Bagalkote, presently residing in Shanthinagar had developed deliver pain. The caller also said that they could not get any vehicle to go to the hospital.
HC Shivappa immediately arranged for an ambulance and assisted the woman to reach the hospital. Dr Harsha commended Shivappa’s exemplary service and chose him as the “COVID-19 Warrior”.
This is a good initiative. Great job.
