Heavy Fog, Jet Airways Flight from Mangaluru to Dubai Lands in Muscat
Mangaluru: Due to heavy fog the Jet Airways flight which took off from Mangaluru International airport could not land in Dubai on December 31.
The Jet Airways flight took off on December 30 at 23:25 from Mangaluru International airport, unable to land in Dubai the flight landed in Muscat.
When mangalorean.com contacted, one of the Jet Airways authorities, he said, “The Jet Airways flight will be landing in Mangaluru international airport at 9:30 am. Due to heavy fog, the flight could not land in Dubai and will fly back to Mangaluru”.
When mangalorean.com contacted the Jet Airways manager in Mangaluru, he said, “The flight has already landed in Muscat and all the passengers are safe. We are unable to assure what time the flight will reach to Dubai. Because of the weather conditions and heavy fog the flight was unable to land in Dubai”.
The Dubai airport authorities are working to restore operations and avoid inconvenience to the passengers.
