Mangaluru: Sources reveal that five air-conditioners, computers and Electronic equipment were reduced to ashes and heavy losses incurred due to FIRE at Bank of Baroda Main Branch Hampankatta, Mangaluru on Wednesday, 30 September during the wee hours of 5 am
It is believed that the fire started due to a short circuit, resulting in heavy losses. Fire brigades quickly reached the spot, bringing the fire under control and from bur, Police and Fire department are doing a thorough investigation for the cause of the fire. The Bank is temporarily shut down due to the mishap, however, as per the Bank officials services are on at the founders’ branch (previously Vijaya Bank Founder’s Branch) at Jyothi circle and Falnir branch.
