Heavy Rain Alert in DK, DC Announces Holiday for Schools and PU Colleges on Oct 26
Mangaluru: The district administration has declared a holiday on October 26 for schools and PU colleges owing to heavy rains and Cyclone Kyarr.
According to the meteorological department, there will be heavy rainfall in the coastal areas for the next 24 hours.
Keeping in mind the safety of the children, Deputy Commissioner Sindhu Rupesh has announced a holiday for schools and PUC colleges on October 26.
Fishermen have also been warned not to venture into the sea as there will be heavy winds.
