Here’s How You Can Oppose – and Opt Out – of Aadhaar

Moodbidri: The GoI is perpetuating a fraud on the people of this country by forcing us to link our UID(alias Aadhaar) with all sorts of things and then filing affidavits in the Supreme court that we “the people” are doing so “voluntarily”. Many businesses are arm-in-arm with the GoI. e.g.: Just take a look at the T&C for linking Aadhaar with ICICI Bank online and you will find that they have pre-ticked the T&C box and they want you to agree that you are voluntarily agreeing with their use of your UID and if you do not agree then you cannot do the linking.

I have complained to ICICIbank and now I am at Level-4 complaint level and at this level, they have just ignored my complaint by not even acknowledging nor changing this misleading T & C. What is it they are hiding? Also, as RBI has obviously compromised its autonomy – I do not think any reprieve can be won from the Banking Ombudsman.

Fact is that this very GoI wanted to scrap the UID as soon as they took over but suddenly they did an about turn. Why and what may have caused this about-turn may be assessed from Dr Usha Ramanathan’s talk (link of which I have shared below). The GoI is following the strategy of its main business partner the “Ambani’s”, whose motto it is to “Kar Lo Duniya Mutti Mein”!, by breaking the laws and disobeying the SC orders and hoping that- by the time the SC hears the PIL’s – millions would have enlisted their UID’s in all sorts of things and there will be no going back EVER even if the SC orders against the illegal acts of the GoI !

We will turn into an Orwellian “1984” state unless vigilant citizens are able to raise their voices to protect their rights.This blatant lie of UID being voluntary has to be exposed for what it is. It is already too late! but better late than never in trying to stop this fraud.
