Madikeri: A view around town indeed brought to mind William Wordsworth’s following lines.

Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive,
But to be young was very heaven!

And the early-morning scenario at the Raja’s Seat and surrounding places here gave one the virtual feeling of being on top of the world, a feeling of floating in the sky.

With due apologies to the illustrious English poet, no one needs to be young. The ambience alone could make anyone feel young. To be here indeed is very heaven!

Mild rains off and on have brought down the mercury level considerably. Monsoons are expected to hit the district anytime now.
